    • Original: «We're witnessing the death of the abortion law. It will be gone in two years unless the American people wake up and fight for their rights. People call up and say 'I'm behind you.' But they're so far behind me that I can't see them».[4]

    • Original: «The case eventually wended its way to U.S. Supreme Court, and in 1973 the case "Braid v. Eisentat" established the rights of individuals to use birth control on the grounds of privacy».[5]
    • Original: «I told them if there was a God, what kind of God would give a little kid cancer? An audience member got up and said, "I know why your grandson got cancer. God's punishing you". It went through me like a knife. Believe it or not, I wake up in the night and think, 'Could I be wrong and everyone else right? Could I be the Devil?' Then psychic perseverance kicks in and I realize it was just an aberration in cell growths. It may sound corny, but sometimes you feel like death is on your shoulder».[6]
    • Original: «'I call myself Johnny Appleseed. I run around the country planting ideas and hoping they'll sprout into freedom and liberation».[4]
    • Original: «They have become quite conservative, very religious. They talk to me about Jesus Christ, and tell he is my savior. I tell them I don't know any saviors. I lost my children: they talk to me, but they don't want to hear about their father and his wars».[7]
    • Original: «If I were assassinated, I know what the movement would do: They'd say, 'He was a great warrior, a great fighter. He withstood the test of time'. But now, while I'm still alive, they won't take my hand or even let me stand by them».[6]

    • Original: «While Baird is respected by many, he is also desdenied by those on both sides of the movement. In her book Going too far, Ms. Morgan suggested Mr. Baird's mission was an effort to get women to sleep with him, and called him as one of the more male-supremacist around».[8]
